Ask An Ambassador: Fall Down, Get Back Up
 
This weekend we had family visiting from Maryland and our 13 year old nephew wanted to go to an area skatepark Sunday afternoon, so off we went to Middletown's Baker Bowl.
The skatepark was fairly large and had a handful of skateboarders, mostly looking to be in their early 20s and each was working on their skills.  Now depending on your viewpoint of Life, you could pick one of the following two quotes and skate with it:
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results Practice makes perfect Now some of those guys fell down.  A LOT.  I watched one guy try to grind a low rail over and over...and over...and over.  Each time the skateboard either hooked the rail and off the guy went, or he didn't get enough speed to make it to the end of the rail, and again, off he went.  Or he'd shoot off the end of the rail but not stick the landing.  But finally he nailed one.  Slid down the rail, off the end, kept his balance and landed the trick.
So was he insane?  Or practicing until perfect?
