The annual Pets on Parade will take place at the Carlsbad Village Faire, in the heart of Carlsbad Village, a popular shopping and dining destination, and just a short distance from the beach, on Sunday December 9th from 9 am until 1:30 pm.
 
Plentiful shopping (including my favorite gelato store, Gaia Gelato) and dining options plus free parking (true in all Carlsbad Village) make it a popular place for residents and tourists during the holidays when there are fun events every weekend.
 
Yesterday was the Crafter’s Showcase, and today, December 2, is the annual Holiday Tree Lighting.
 
Pets on Parade offers pet owners a fun opportunity for photos with Santa (for an appointment call 760-644-2121) – the cost is $30, with appointment beginning at 9 am.
 
Keep in mind these photo spots are limited so reserve early – they can only accommodate walk-ins if bookings are not filled! You can download photos after the event on December 10th beginning at 5 pm.
