Hobby Farm in Winter Haven - Just Sold
This time its personal! 
My wife and I were perfectly content in our 3 bedroom 2 bath home in Lakeland that we just listed and sold on a whim. Why? As a real estate broker I saw an opportunity. A twice expired listing of a Winter Haven Hobby Farm For Sale that was on 8.87 acres with a 1 acre pond, two pastures, and a total of three houses and a 4 car detached garage. This property needs a fair amount of work to bring it back to its former glory, things like removing the origional 1940's home, a new roof on the main house, a new kitchen, clearing the pastures and redoing plenty of fencing. But this property was for us. I wanted a rental and some room to keep my bees and garden, my wife wants horses, a flock of chickens, and some goats. This allows all of that, and more!
We just finished putting in the new A/C unit, and are measuring the roof this week to have a metal roof ordered and installed. We decided to go with a metal roof because it will out live both of us. We are going to replace appliances with energy efficient ones ... more
