Carlsbad’s fair season is upon us, now that Spring is here.
 
One of the area’s favorite outdoor fairs is coming soon, and it’s reportedly the largest outdoor 1-day fair in the US (other than its competitor, the Carlsbad Village Faire taking place every November).
 
Better plan now and get it on your calendar for the first weekend in May - that's Kentucky Derby weekend (the race is Saturday)!!
 
The Carlsbad Village Faire, the 45th this year, takes place Sunday May 5 from 8 am until 5 pm. The fair is held in the heart of our Village, along Grand Avenue from Carlsbad Boulevard to Jefferson and also spills over onto side streets including State Street over to Carlsbad Village Drive.
SO WHAT WILL YOU FIND AT THE CARLSBAD VILLAGE FAIRE?
The Carlsbad Village Faire is an impressive event. While it sounds a bit like a cliché, I think it’s fair to say that there IS something for everyone with over 850 vendors, and surrounded by all our local Carlsbad Village retailers.
