FSBO Homes Sell Quicker Than Agent Listed Homes?!
NOTE: I'm writing this article from the perspective of the writer, and not Z57, Inc.
 
While browsing some statistics from the National Association of Realtors, I found an astonishing fact:
 
"FSBO homes sold more quickly on the market than agent-assisted homes. 73% of FSBO homes sold in less than two weeks—often because homes were sold to someone the seller knows."
 
As a real estate content-writer and not an agent myself, this took me back. Out of all the homes sold in 2018, FSBO homes sold more quickly. Albeit with the disclaimer that the seller knew the buyer.
What does this mean for real estate agents though? This means that you should value and continue to cultivate the relationships you have with people, wether or not they are prospective real estate clients or not. Investing time into your relationships is also investing in your business. Have a bigger network of potential buyers than FSBOs have.
