Furry Scurry - Denver CO - Wash Park on 5/4/19
 
 
The 26th Annual Furry Scurry will be held at Wash Park in Denver May 4th, 2019.    This will be a 2 mile walk that begins at 9 am around Wash Park, with refreshments before, during and after walk.  This is always a very popular event, and even if you are not walking, it is fun to attend.



 
 
 
 
 
Funds raised at this event allow the Dumb Friends League to provide medical care to sick or injured animals, provide behavior training that allows pets to be adopted more quickly, investigate cases of animal cruelty, and much more.
In 2018:
11,861 surgeries performed
18,271 pets were saved
2,533 went into foster care
6,075 had mobile spaying/neutering
 
.79 of every dollar donated went to animal care services, education and outreach.

There will be 150 vendor booths to visit providing pet-friendly merchandise as well as services offers for pets.    For additional fun, there are fun contests for you and your pet to enter starting at 9:45 am -     Check out the web site for the different events offered.
