Coffee With A Cop In Ballantyne Area: June 18th
 
Charlotte/Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) South Division will be hosting a Coffee with a Cop event in the Ballantyne area on Tuesday, June 18th from 9:00 am till 11:00 am at the Starbucks in the Stonecrest Shopping Center,  located at 7922 Rea Road.  Coffee with a Cop  provides a special opportunity to meet your local police officers who serve the South Charlotte/Ballantyne area and to learn more about how the CMPD works in our neighborhoods. No agenda, just good conversation!
 
Because the majority of contacts police officers have with the public typically revolve around emergencies, those are  times that  aren't  necessarily the most effective for building relationaships within the community. Coffee with a Cop offers a simple "meet and greet" environment, allowing the public to have a one-on-one conversation with local police officers and detectives in a relaxed environment. The program has no formal agenda or format, so just come, bring your questions and concerns and have a friendly conversation with the police officers who serve us so selflessly.
