The 2nd quarter of 2019 was a busy time in the real estate market in the Carlsbad 92010 area, with some shifts from Q2 in 2018. Here we review what happened with single family detached home sales in the Carlsbad 92010 area for April through June 2019, along with current active and pending listings.
 
 
The 92010 area of Carlsbad includes Calavera Hills, Tamarack Point, The Summit, The Foothills at Carlsbad, Carlsbad Heights, Spinnaker Point, and the new planned communities of Robertson Ranch (2 of the neighborhoods are gated communities) and The Preserve. There are several other neighborhoods further west but east of El Camino Real, offering a mix of attached (condos, town homes, twin homes) and detached single family homes.
 
SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED HOME SALES
        44 single family detached homes sold in 92010 in Q2 of 2019 (8% fewer than in 2018) but there were 29% more sales than in Q1 of this year.         Average sales price was $932,819 – down 2% from the Q2 2018 average price but up 8% from the Q1 2019 average.         Sales prices ranged from $649,000 to $1,675,000         Median price was $870,000, down 1% ... more
