Recently a friend asked me to go with her on a house-hunting trip. They are moving back to town (yea!) and her husband wanted her to get an idea of what kind of homes are available. 
 
 
There were some that were an immediate no...terrible condition, too much stuff everywhere, not clean, and the cardinal sin when selling your home...it smelled. 
 
However, there were a few that could and should have been placed on my friend's shortlist.  We critiqued each on and they hit the hot spots...price, location, condition. 
However, something was missing. Something that made we couldn’t put our fingers on at first. What was missing was that element that causes your emotions to say This is home!
