Walkers and joggers can get in their daily dose of exercise, safe in the knowledge that a shady spot or bench for resting is right around the bend. Grab your favorite pair of athletic shoes and take a stroll around one of these four walking paths.
 
 
The Broadwalk:
• nearly one-mile loop in Montgomery Mutual
• bordered by Leisure World Boulevard and Gleneagles Drive
• walkers should park their cars in the main lot or on South Leisure World Boulevard, not in the courts
 
 
Mutual 9:
• roughly 0.6-mile of pathway that stretches between The Inter-Faith Chapel and Connecticut Avenue
• grazes the backyards of single-family homes
• slight inclines and plenty of shade; an excellent choice for residents who want to comfortably enjoy the outdoors with minimal exertion
