Joe,
As you well know, we always look to you when it comes to our mortgages and now need some advice. We are looking to increase our current line of credit.  Basically, they said that we have to reapply and the fees would be nearly $1000, which we'd like to avoid if possible. Do you have any recommendations/options rather than going through our current bank. If you're free tomorrow please give me a call or give me a time to call you.
We are actively home searching so we want to make sure we have all of our ducks in a row. As always thank you.

I referred this client to one on my referral partner banks that I work with all the time. Their cost for doing the $100,000 HELOC was ZERO.

Do you know why some banks would ask for a $1000 for a home equity line of credit? Simple answer, because they can. But that doesn’t mean you have to agree.
