Carpinteria Curb Appeal: A Riot of Colors

In a past post, I shared the pink bougainvillea on the fence of this beach condo building that has views of the ocean in the front, and the side pictured above. You can see deep red bougainvillea paired with bird of paradise and further down a tall lion's mane bush in a burnt orange color.
 
There are jasmine bushes below and a lawn...Nothing matches, and yet this riot of color for me expresses the joy and the diversity of California curb appeal as seen in our little village of Carpinteria...
