Growing Tomatoes this summer!

Tomatoes are a popular taste of summer and a favorite of backyard growers and community gardeners.  OSU Extension, in partnership with the Greater Columbus Growing Coalition (GCGC),  will be hosting a virtual class event, Tomatoes 101, on Thursday June 4th @ 7pm.  This class can also serve as your needed class for GCGC membership.  CLICK HERE for registration information for the zoom link.  The class is free and open to the public so bring your friends and your questions. 
 
We also invite you to join the Franklin County Board of Commissioners LIVE on Facebook today at 1PM. They will be unveiling a new tool that can help budding entrepreneurs or existing businesses. Commissioner O’Grady will be joined by special guests Tony Logan, Chair of the Columbus & Franklin County Local Food Board; Tamela Walker owner/operator of Torlitas and the founder of the Greater Linden Business Network; and Alex Beres, Assistant Director of Economic Development & Planning.
