Earlier in the week, I wrote about a Seller who had phoned to have me list her home in the $2.5-$3m price range in PRIME Charlotte. I found out at the appointment that I was competing with some hard- hitting REALTORS in the area and was rather 'stunned' if you will, because I thought they had already researched and found who they wanted to list their home--ME!  

Honestly (and humbly), my face and name are ALL over the place and my business is an open book to all.  So, I thought that they had already read about me and made their decision.  You see, coming from a nursing background, I am more of a caregiver than a hard-hitting sales girl!  Now don't get me wrong, my 'blonde' and my 'sweetness' can be deceiving when you're negotiating with me but, when it comes to competing with other agents, I find that I'm a bit uncomfortable.
