Great Italian Food near zip code 80016, Aurora, Colorado
For all you locals around zip code 80016, just wanted to let you know about one of my favorite local Italian restaurants.  Armando's.  Well all the dishes are fab, I love the ciopinno (a seafood like stew in a tomato base), served up with a side of garlic bread.  My husband usually goes for the heavier dishes like chicken breast stiffed with cheese, garlic and spinach in a cream sauce, yum.  Oh and their garlic knots are to die for.  Skip the soup and salad, not that great and the main portions are huge so you do not need them.  Grab a glass of wine though,  pours a nice sized glass cost about $5.00.  Be prepped to wait to be seated when you get there.  Most times there is a wait but usually not more than 20 minutes.  And if you love pizza this is the place for the best deep dish.  Order take out and you will be in heaven at home, pair with a nice Chianti and life doesn't get much better.  Oh and they have a 2nd location off of Parker and Lincoln.  And watch out for coupons in your local mailer.   So now you know you dont have to travel ... more
