Helen Ga Real Estate "Are You Ready to Vote?"
I do not intend this to become anything other than a reminder of our right to vote.  I personally have already voted, because I will be working at the polls on election day.  I get there at 6 am and leave who knows when and I am happy to do it.  (Yes there is a small check received for the 12plus hour day)
But my point is to tell you what I see at the polls on election day.  I have seen one person who comes in a wheel chair and has not missed a vote in 3 years I have been working.  I see another who is legally blind who comes to vote, being brought by a family member.  I see one who is 97 years old who is still very bright and insists on coming to vote.  I see one who is of Native American origin and is so proud to present his Tribal Card as identification.  I see many who are veterans who present their military ids. I see one who was actually in Iraq and does not miss a vote.  I see many affluent voters and some obviously struggling voters, but the point is I see voters.  ... more
