What to bring when you move to Washington State...
Umbrella, if you don't buy them early in the season they get sold out. Western Washington is the wet (green) side of the state. Surf board, from Seattle you can be to the Pacific Ocean in 2 hours. I have friends who surf and think our coast is really under rated for surfing, you do need a wet suit... Camping equipment, hundreds of state and national parks within an hours drive... Ski equipment, Cross country or alpine within a hour of Seattle Hiking boots, hundreds of trails to explore... Scuba equipment, Puget Sound is a haven for all skill levels... Fishing gear, Salmon, Cod, Trout, Dog fish... Crab traps, Dungeness and Rock crab... Bicycle, Hundreds of miles of bike trails and the famous STP (Seattle to Portland) road race Kites great sport at the ocean... Sun glasses , old joke, we do need them when the sun appears  A sense of humor, we need more laughs You need not bring everything, you can buy everything you need for a good time...
