Being a Gen Y'er myself there are a few things that stand out to me when I work with a Gen Y versus a non Gen Y. First technology is important. The biggest yet very simple step everybody can take is upload multiple photos of your listing. With the level of inventory we have, I have worked with several buyers that say, "if it doesn't have photos we don't want to waste our time viewing the property." So that is the first step. When you say to someone, "I provide an exceptional level of customer service". What does that really mean? For one everybody has a different expectation of what that means. It looks like active rain has reached another mile mark. 25,000 members and that took about 30 days so it is starting to pick up more buzz. How many professionals have gotten atleast one lead yet? For sure I am learning more than attending any seminar. There is a plethora of good information. On Thursday I found out that our counter offer on my listing at 958 Marcia was excepted subject to inspections ofcourse. I can tell you how the sellers of this Wyoming story and a half home did it. First they have owned the home for over 40 years, since 1964. That is impressive in itself. Well they also own a home up north in Newaygo on the lake.
