Approximately 3500 single family homes exist in the Houston Heights with an average sales price per sq. ft. of $175 in 2007. Since 1994, this figure has increased every year. The values were $164/sq ft. in 2006, $156/sq ft.in 2005 and $150/ sq ft. in 2004. These figures were obtained from the Houston Association of Realtors Multiple Listing Service, as are the others cited in this article. While on a listing appointment I ask the home sellers to fill out a form similar to the following: 10 Favorite Features of My Home 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. You know your home better than anyone!
If the home sellers decide to fill out the form and it is easily legible, then I make copies of the handwritten document and leave them with the interior fliers I have made for their home. If the form is not legible, then I type a clear copy prior to leaving it at the property. Home buyers enjoy reading what is important to the seller.
