The Prince William Virginia Homes Price Average of Homes Sold is Still moving higher to an average sales price of $ 253,037 over last January which is a 20.35 % increase over last January's average sales price of $210,255. Much lower inventory and low mortgage rates are pushing the increase of price. There are also less quality foreclosures, short sales and bank owned properties than a year ago. Many of those homes were sold with the initial 8K tax credit. Personally, I would have assumed the the homes sold increased because of the tax credit, but that is not the case since it was renewed and expanded. This … (0 comments)

Prince William Real Estate Report for December 2009 Home Sales in Prince William Virginia Still Saw Homes Sold Drop of 20% Compared to Same Sale Period December 2005, and a 22.04% Decrease Over Last Year! The Prince William Virginia Homes Price Average of Homes Sold is Still moving higher to an average sales price of $259,985 which is a 22.40 % increase over last December's average sales price of $212,403. Much lower inventory and low mortgage rates are pushing the increase of price. There are also less quality foreclosures and bank owned properties than a year ago.
