So there I was, enjoying a lovely autumn Sunday. Brett had just led the Packers to 7 & 1; life was good. What should I make for dinner, I pondered. A nice piece of fish, maybe, so off to the store I trotted. The mahi mahi looked pretty good, so I brought it home, doused in a a salt water bath for 20 minutes (ice cold water, salt and ice cubes), then dried it with paper towel, rubbed it with a little red pepper-flavored olive oil and dredged it in a mild seafood rub (Old Bay). Recently, I wrote a post about worthless prequalification letters and lenders who aren't quite above-board in their representations of buyers' credit worthiness. I suggested requesting credit scores when considering an offer, along with a few other ideas. I briefly also mentioned my BEST LENDERS list. The other day I posted a message about providing a buyer's credit score to a seller when making an offer (with the buyer's written permission, of course.) While most of the comments I received were positive, I received one comment that disagreed with the idea. The agent suggested that I stick with having the listing agent talk with the buyer's lender.
