I was recently talking with a relative who was born and raised on a large lake in Washington State. He related with the editing of long memory, about life on the lake. He talked about how, over the passage of time, the activity on the Lake deprived many of the residents of the tranquility they once enjoyed before the recreation explosion. He eventually moved away from the lake, the traffic, congestion and public access just became too much for him.
