Prices jumped markedly. And the homebuying affordability ratio ticked down for the third quarter of 2012, a new report by California Association of Realtors says. The Housing Affordability Index says 68 percent of homebuyers in the Inland area could afford to buy a median-priced home in the third quarter, down from 69 percent in the third-quarter of 2011.
