Summer and the July 4th holiday are here. So of course you can expect celebrations and fireworks in and around Carlsbad, along with private festivities, cookouts, and picnics. And of course beach time!
Now that schools are out, the summer crowds have picked up, restaurants are busy, and public parking at the beaches, and in the Village, will be harder to find, especially this holiday weekend. But what a great time of year!

There will be plenty of people at the beach and lots of gatherings now that things have opened up, and it should be a very different holiday than we experienced in 2020 with so many cancelations.
