I just happened to be driving by that day, so I just HAD to attend!
Tuesday, August 13, 2013, Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones, made a quick trip home from training camp in Oxnard, Calif, for a press conference announcing that the Dallas Cowboys are coming to Frisco! 
The Cowboys have practiced in their Valley Ranch complex since 1983, but after Cowboys Stadium, now AT&T Stadium, was built, North Texas cities expressed interest in upgrading the practice facility - main cities being Arlington, Irving and Frisco.
No, they are not building the stadium here, but will relocate their corportate headquarters and practice fields.  Plans are … (2 comments)

In between hanging out with family & friends, cooking on the grill or relaxing at the lake...I truly hope, if even for a moment, you will take a moment and realize that this is not just a day off from work or school; it's about our fallen heroes chosing to put their lives on the line for many reasons, but I'm pretty certain that giving us a day-off is not one of them. 
Memorial Day to me isn't about war or all the feelings that go along with it. It's about individuals who chose to serve in the United States Military and they made the ultimate sacrifice.
