As I sat at the most recent sales rally for my brokerage, I found myself doodling on the pad I'd brought to capture valuable content, Learn One New Thing over and over again. The meeting felt more like an infomercial to me with the steady stream of sponsors moving to the podium, But I stayed and waited and waited for some tidbit, some "new idea" some "new information" to take away. In the end, my pad just had "learn one new thing" and then shortened to "L.O.N.T". written over and over. I am making this my personal bar for asking anyone to take time from (36 comments)
