I recently found out that you can now place an image in your Gmail messages instead of having to just attach photos. It is easy and quick to do. Follow these instructions to update your emails;
1. Log into your Gmail account
2. Click on "Settings"
3. Click on "Labs"
4. Scroll down and click "Enable" next to "Inserting Images"
5. Click "Save Changes"

The 4th Annual Charleston Cinco De Mayo Festival is scheduled for May 1, 2009 at the Visitor Center located in Downtown Charleston. The event is set from 7 pm to 11pm. There will be live music to include; live salsa bands and professional salsa dancers. Of course it will not be a Cinco de Mayo festival without authentic Mexican food and beverage. Come out and enjoy a mouth watering margarita (one of my favorite drinks) and some wonderful food. Hope to see you there!!!
All proceeds will go to benefit a local hospital, Roper St. Francis.

The Preservation Society of Charleston is hosting a home tour in one of our most historic neighborhoods from 2 - 5 pm tomorrow, April 26.
The walking tour will consist of at least eight homes that range from a Freedman's Cottage circa 1901 to a 1937 Colonial Revival. All of the homes are privately owned and open to the public for this event only. Trained volunteers will interpret every and all aspects of the homes.
Tickets are available at www.preservationsociety.org or by calling 843-722-4630, the cost is $20.
