I have lived in North Fulton and South Forsyth Counties for 32 years and the traffic, commutes, and congestion have compounded every year.  It’s no secret that Forsyth County is growing rapidly, and with growth comes traffic. But in the next few years, congestion along Ga. 400 may lighten up thanks to the proposed interchange at McGinnis Ferry Road.  The project design work is being performed by Forsyth County, but is overseen and let by the Georgia Department of Transportation because Ga. 400 is a state road.

For many of us who have recently relocated to South Forsyth County Georiga, our commutes on GA400 could become a lot more, well...lengthy.  The GA400 Express Lane Project remains on the table for GADOT and many north suburban Atlanta commuters are cheering for it to get started.  New Express LanesIf you live in or visit Forsyth County, you have undoubtedly encountered some of GA 400. While there are many substantial transportation projects throughout the state, there is one in particular that promises to not only make life on GA 400 easier, but provide a boost to a key Georgia county.
