home buying: University Of Michigan Ranked #1 By Money Magazine! - 05/25/22 02:22 PM
Our own University of Michigan did it again.
Money Magazine Rates University of Michigan Number One!
Money routinely rates our big Ann Arbor University highly, but this year we hit the top!

Money bases their evaluation on three criteria:
1. Affordability – Michigan is for in-state students is priced less than about 600 other colleges.2. Quality – The graduation rate is about 93% which pegs it at one of the highest in the U.S.3. Student Outcomes – Salaries for graduates are much higher than average and a very high percentage of graduates are successful at getting hired right out of school.

home buying: Great Source For Historic Aerial Photos Of Ann Arbor - 02/21/22 09:47 AM
It turns out that our own Ann Arbor District Library has a great collection of historic aerial photos showing many Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti neighborhoods from the last 65 years or so.

home buying: Michigan May Have Missed The Poison Chinese Drywall Issue - 06/03/09 03:56 AM
I've posted before about the concern with poison drywall from China. It is a big problem in Florida and a number of other states.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission now has a website devoted to the topic here: Drywall Information Center
And it looks like there have not been problems reported to date in Michigan.
This is very good. Some people are predicting this will be the largest liability issue to hit the country ever.
If you hear of it becoming a problem in Michigan please let us know and send us a link so we can share it here.

The National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents (NAEBA.ORG) met at this same hotel seven years ago. There is a good group this year.

The speaker during this session … (0 comments)
