Builders toss a lot of confusing terms around, but our customers often give us a puzzled look when we talk about custom and semi-custom new homes. So what are these? What's the difference? And why should you even care?
First of all, it's important to understand that new homes fall into one of three categories - Production, Semi-Custom and Custom. As a customer looking for a new home in Tampa and St. Petersburg, most new homes fall into either Semi-Custom or Custom. new tampa home: It's Waffle Iron Day...Really?!

Yes! Following on the heals of yesterday's exciting Insurance Awareness Day we have "Waffle Iron Day" today, June 29th. Of course, this is not to be confused with Waffle Day - that's in March. Sorry, but I stumbled upon some really odd holidays, but I'm a breakfast guy at heart and waffles are my Achilles heel. Besides one of my favorite breakfast places, Waffle House, doesn't pass the cleanliness test with my wife, so I rarely get to sample the best waffles around. Not to worry, I'm working on my kids and they're completely bought in to "The House".
