New Listings for Single Family Homes in Fairburn were up 17% over February 2010.  This is a general indication that the market in Fairburn is picking up positively. Foreclosure Listings for Single Family Homes in Fairburn were flat in year over year results.  So the increase in New Listings resulted in either more short sales or more owners seeking to sell at retail. New Listings were up in January 2011 as compared with January 2010 for Fairburn.  The 15% increase is partly contributed to a year over year increase in the number of foreclosure listings.  Foreclosure listings were up by 27% when comparing 2011 to 2010.  The increase in foreclosure listings signals that banks and lending institutions are releasing more foreclosred homes into the market.

College Park Real Estate 30349 - January Numbers
January 2011 New Listings in College Park were up by 20% when compared to January 2010.  This increase is new listings is being driven by two factors.  The first one which may be the more obvious one is a corresponding increase in the volume of New Foreclosures.  That number went up by 23% when comparing year over year statistics.  The second factor is sellers listing their properties to get ahead of the coming Spring selling season.  With this increase we all see more short sale listings as sellers become smarter about not allowing … (0 comments)
