The event will begin at 11:00am with the Veterans Paraded through downtown Franklin, NC.Local elementary school children will sing for the veterans. The ceremony will conclude with the wreath laying ceremony on the courtyard of the Macon County Courthouse. This is a fun event for the entire family.

Every Saturday night Franklin, NC has a Free Event called Pickin on the Square right in the middle of downtown at the Gazebo. The only vendors allowed is food. It's amazing the amount of people that come out to listen to the live free music all summer long through August. One place you may want to check out is Jerry Anselmo's place on the Little T in Franklin, NC. Great Smokey Mountain Fish Camp & Safari's. Their beautiful camp and fishing grounds are located right on the Little Tennessee River in Franklin, NC. Visit them from April 1st to November 1st for the best kayaking, tubing, camping, and fishing experience of a lifetime.
