It is the modern adaptation of acient shelter used by the Nomads. The circular structure of a yurt has a wood frame, rafters, a framed door and an insulated long-lasting fabric cover. Most of the Yurts have bunks and futons, a deck and furniture. You know, my idea of camping was always the Holiday Inn (back in the day). I didn't really like the "tent thing" or sleeping bag idea.
