It's official! My Broker, JoAnn Dickinson, just signed a lease with the management of Lake Arrowhead's Village, for our "Satellite" office which will be up and running SOON. Yes, it is at The Village, where the Geoffrey Beene used to be...acrossn from "The Wishing Well."
Now I don't have all the details... but I KNOW all my friends and fellow Realtors were dying to find out so I just had to share.

Always a big hit in Lake Arrowhead, is the ANTIQUE & CLASSIC WOODEN BOAT SHOW! Taking place at The Lake Arrowhead Village, dock side, you can spend hours here viewing the awesome boats and cars, shopping and eating at the many stores and restaurants.
Every year we Southern Californians think the boat show can't get any better, but somehow, it does. This year's show features a large variety of wooden boats from days long past like the Chris Craft, Century, Gar Wood, Thompson, to name a few.
Don't forget about the many classic "woodie" cars displayed throughout the Village.

LAKE ARROWHEAD VILLAGE has something for everyone. Rides for the kiddies, ducks to feed, eateries that cater to every single taste-bud: Mexican, American, from Waffles to Sushi, and more. Much more. There's shopping galore or benches to sit on...relax, kick back and watch people stroll by (that's my favorite thing to do). Supposedly (and I haven't actually counted) there are 50 plus shops, restaurants and attractions at The Village. You can even get your hair done. AND all of this is on the lower level of The Village.

If you were in Southern California in the 60's, then you may remember two groups, The HODADS & The SURFERS. Basically, being blond and living near the beach meant you were a "surfer." AND if you were not a surfer, than the only other option was to be a HODAD.
Tonight, August 22, 2008, at the LAKE ARROWHEAD VILLAGE, come enjoy some 60's tunes by THE HODADS. Over the years band members, Bobby Schuster, John Hatton, Jimmy Street, Sterling Smith & Tony Jones have preformed with Elvis, Dolly Pardon and Frank Sinatra, to name a few.
