charleston realtor: Understanding A CMA
- 03/14/18 07:40 PM
A Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) is a report prepared by a real estate agent comparing your property to similar properties on the market. Included in the report are homes currently for sale and homes recently sold through the local listings database typically within the past 6 months. Although it is NOT an appraisal and merely an estimate of value based on features and condition of your home compared to other homes in your area it is still a great way to determine whether now is a good time for you to list your home. The Temple Team offers a free Comparative Market Analysis so you can find out how much (2 comments)
Here's an example that shows how interest rates directly impact the cost of the home you can afford.
As you can see .... Interest Rates GREATLY impact the end result in what home you may qualify for and even the slightest increase can hugely impact your budget.

charleston realtor: Remove Tarnish From Your Silver!
- 03/05/18 08:00 PM
How to remove tarnish with baking soda, foil, and hot waterIt might seem more like magic than a simple cleaning hack, but this this method will dissolve tarnish before your eyes. Start with freshly hand-washed silver. In a foil-lined pan (or a pan made of foil) dissolve a tablespoon of baking soda with a cup of boiling water. Immerse your silver in the bath for a minute or two, until you see the tarnish lift. Remove the silver, and voilà, it's cleaned and tarnish-free. Dry and polish your pieces immediately.
You may need to repeat for heavily tarnished items. Some people will add half a cup of vinegar or (2 comments)

charleston realtor: Your Home "SOLD" ... Now What???
- 03/01/18 07:38 PM
Do not pack for the home you currently live in ... instead pack for the home you're going to! Look around your home and decide what you want in each particular room of your new home and pack accordingly. For example ... if you are combining a Family Room and Living Room and only having one Living Space in your new home, then decide what you're going to keep and pack it all together! Do not wait until the moving truck arrives to start to make decisions and to start packing. Have it all finished prior to help arriving! You will (2 comments)
charleston realtor: We "Spring Ahead" this Weekend!
- 03/01/18 07:24 PM
Remember to "Spring Forward" on Sunday - March 11thHow Daylight Saving Time Works ... During the late part of Winter just before Spring we move our clocks one hour ahead and "lose" an hour during the night and each Fall we move our clocks back one hour to the original time and "gain" an extra hour. The phrases "Spring forward, Fall back" were created to help people remember how Daylight Saving Time affects their clocks. At 2 a.m. on the second Sunday in March, we set our clocks forward one (6 comments)
