Information obtained from the City of Emerald Isle presentation to Emerald Isle NC Real Estate Professionals on March 16, 2012. Golf Carts are now allowed to operate on Emerald Isle NC's streets except for NC 58 and Coast Guard Rd. The Emerald Isle Golf Cart Programs permits the use of golf carts as long as you obtain a permit from the town of Emerald Isle.
