Movie Theater shooting due to a romantic break-up On December 16, 2012, there was another movie theater shooting in San Antonio, TX. Unlike the other recent movie theater shooting and the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting, this event was not random. There were actual targets due to a romantic break-up gone bad. Lake Oconee had opened a new school called Lake Oconee Academy. Not only was the school tremendous but so are the students. A total of 61.1 percent of students in four different grade levels exceed state averages when it comes to CRCT tests at Lake Oconee Academy. The other percentage have met the state averages, and only 1.3 percent failed to meet the requirements. Students in those grade levels are tested on reading, ELA, math, science and social studies.
