Might be the last chance for winter storms this year. We are expecting a bit of winter this weekend. We have been teased the last two weeks with the promise of an early summer, but the weather has taken a snap backwards today. As I drove on the Rim of the World Hwy this morning, watching the clouds creeping up the side of the mountain, I knew the great weather was short lived. Where does your business come from? I know that not half, but I would say 80% or better of my business is coming from the Internet. Whether it is someone stumbling onto my various feeds, or seeking me out, I know they are getting to me. I have pulled back a good deal on my hard copy farms and have focused more on my Internet farm. Today I had the pleasure of showing golf course frontage homes. Digging in and looking for the right buy for these particular clients meant going back through a year worth of notes. I have a great memory, but I have found in real estate that details mean everything and taking great notes is key. I found the right home for them today, with lake rights, which in turn will help one of my listings, outside of lake rights. Well today kicked off the official Rebuilding Together Dinner Auction season. The Auction Dinner will be held on April 22nd at the San Moritz Lodge in Crestline. This years theme will be "Rock the House". Our auction dinner is our annual fundraising event to raise money for the following years recipients. I reluctantly rolled out of bed this morning for a long run... My husband was ready to go in a flash and I kept tinkering with my MP3 player to get the right song going. Well, I wasted all the time that he would allow for me and headed out this crisp morning. To my surprise it was a great run and I am glad to be writing this. The history of how Lake Arrowhead came to be is a sweet story filled with rich imagination and some real life stars... Many times it is easy for us as Realtors to get in the habit of stating a neighborhood by its nick name.
