Good News from Ft. Benning! Christian Bray and his first grade classmates began a letter writing campaign that may have life saving benefits for young Christian and his family. Christian Bray was diagnosed with epilepsy and cerebral palsy at birth and the recent efforts of these fantastic first graders caught the attention of J.D. Fenessy of the Milk-Bone Company. Milk-Bone is a Sponsor of Canine Assistants, a non profit organization that provides service dogs. Christian has seizures and stops breathing when he is sleeping, hopes are that his new canine friend will alert his parents and allow Christian to become more independent. … (0 comments)

Britt David Magnet Academy is the highest ranked public school in Georgia! It's true, the Georgia Public Policy Foundation reported that statewide testing revealed Britt David Magnet Academy the number one school in all of Georgia. Columbus, the Muscogee County School Board, Staff, Teachers, Students and Parents should all be very proud of these results.
