Aloha, Lance Owens here with LUVA Real Estate, I find it amazing how afordable Hawaii really is and how few people realize it.
What would you say if I showed you 1 bedroom. 1 bath condo, located on Alii Drive (desirable area). The complex sits on both sides of the street, Ocean front, and almost ocean front (across the street). You have access to all the amenities in the ocean front complex, but this unit is across the street.

Aloha, Lance Owens here with LUVA Real Estate, as I drove to the office this morning I was compelled to pull over and take this photo: Magic's, Alii Drive, Kailua Kona, HI Dec 1, 2014, 8:00am , air temp 75, water temp 80 . (sorry Bodyglove - no wetsuits needed)
So - how harsh are the winters in Hawaii ? Daytime temperatures will hover in the low 80s, night times will dip into the low 70s and water temp will drop down into the lower 70s also.

OK, so I was one of those idiots that camped out overnight for the new iPhone 6+ 128gb. And probably not for the reasons you think, I had actually pre-ordered mine, so I wasn't in that much of a hurry, it was the fact that a good friend of mine does this every year, and he brings his son along for a little "urban camping" - fancy word for sleeping on the sidewalk with 60 other dummies.

Some-days you just have to stop and smell the roses, in this case the roses were the Pacific Ocean, and today is somehow better than yesterday, even after 30 years here. I just had to share it with all.

Aloha, Lance Owens (RS) here with LUVA Real Estate and I wanted to take a minute to go over some of the black and white numbers with you. More so, why it is important to get a local REALTOR, someone that knows your area.
According to the Hawaii Information Service (HIS) the median price for a condo in West Hawaii, (actually the MLS will break it down as North Kona), Condo prices have increased a measly 2.51% over September 2012, and while the MLS just breaks it down from the REALTOR input, it does not represent whats happening on the ground.
