I'm looking to connect with other Agents that are involved in Community Association Managers. If you're interested, I've established a new group. Join me and let's share ideas, problems, or just help each other out. I know each community is different, but sharing experiences may help someone else with a similar problem. In the state of Georgia in order to manage a Community you must be either a REALTOR or hold a CAM license. Is it the same for other states? … (0 comments)

A community association may be called a number of things including, homeowners association, condomium association, property owners association or a cooperative (co-op). Although they can have many different functions, the primary goal of any association is to preserve the nature of a community and to protect the value of the property or properties located in the community. When a community is first developed it is up to the individual developer to determine the type of community that is going to be developed.
