This Friday and Saturday at Saint Joseph Church in Downingtown our Pre-Cana classes will be held for all those young couple wishing to marry in the Catholic Faith next year. Our classes are always full and this one will be no different. Friday evening is an introduction to the weekends schedule and a social hour to afford the young couple to meet with and informally ask question to their Pre-Cana sponsors. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! To all those who came out in support of the St. Joseph Community Festival (2102) WE SAY THANK YOU!!!!! The 5 day event went very well in spite of excessive heat for 3 days and one early rain out on Friday. The event long one price ride option was a huge hit and I heard nothing but positive responses from the crowd on this years new ride provider. Opening night of the 2012 5th Annual St. Joseph Community Festival is in the books and a Huge Thank You to all who came out kick off this years event. This was our best opening night in our young history and we look forward to more of the same through Saturday. The weather cooperated which is always a key and the rest of the week looks just as promising.....PLEASE remember we are offering $20.00 one price ride nights every night. This past weekend my lovely bride Beverly and I were one of the sponsor teams at the Pre-Cana weekend at St. Joseph's Church in Downingtown. This is a programs is not just for St. Joe's Parishioners, but for the area couples looking to marry in the Catholic Church. This was our second time as a sponsor and the experience has only strengthened our own relationship. The St. Joseph's Church in Downingtown, PA is having its first Carnival....being put on by the Knight's of Columbus Council #7208. The date are Tuesday July 29th through Saturday August 2nd , 2008, each evening from 6 PM - 10 PM. The location is the rear parking lot behind St Joseph's Church and school on Manor Avenue in Downingtown. There will be rides for the young and old and everyone in between.....there will be food and games of chance. My family and I attended the 10:30 AM Mass today at St. Joseph's Church and was pleasently reminded that today the Archdiocesan Boy Choir of Philadelphia was there for the Mass. What a tremendously uplifting performance these young men gave. The range in ages and voices truly inspired all who attended. They have performed all around the world and will again this year in Mexico. I have never heard them before today, yet know I will again.
