A Closer Look At The Elliot Road Technology Corridor, Site Of The Next Google Data Center The Mesa City Council approved a development deal late June 2019 with Google for a $1 billion data center to be built at a 187-acre plot of land on the northwest corner of Elliot and Sossaman roads, west of the Loop 202 Santan Freeway. Google is expected to break ground on the facility within the next five years with the first 250,000 of the 750,000 square feet in place by July 2025 and the project completed by July 2029. Historic Photo Installation Honors Falcon Field Airport WWII Role With eyes to the sky, Oswaldo Interiano towers over Mesa’s Falcon Field Airport, more than half a century since he trained at the former World War II pilot training base.
