Las Vegas is hosting the pubcon SEO conference in November. The conference will cover everything from pay per click advertising to organic ranking. The keynote speakers are Guy Kawasaki, Jon S. von Tetzchner and John Battelle.  The conference is from November 14 through the 17th at the Las Vegas convention center.  Tickets are $450 until August 1st, after that it will be $1299.
I was wondering how many other realtors or their agents were planning to attend.

las vegas: New Supra Key - 07/20/06 02:22 PM
Recently the GLVAR mandated that all realtors switch over to the new Suprakey.  Aside from working basically like the old one, the new keys are now required to "update" each night, forcing you to hook the base up to a phone line in your house.  IF you forget to put the key on the charger before midnight of that day, the next day the key will not work.  It is touted as a security feature, should your key be lost or stolen it would be worthless within 24 hours.

I have read a few posts here about the slowing down of the housing market.  But what I haven't seen is any actual numbers regarding it. I did a little research on our market here in Las Vegas. Compared to last year, as of mid June, our market has changed about -19%, at least in the resale end. All things considered, that isn't bad at all. It seemed that 2006 was going to be the year of high rise cancellations. The suspension of the Curve project comes on the heels of the cancellation of Icon, Ivana and Liberty Tower earlier this year. Despite this recent suspension, the amount of projects going forward is still far more than the majority of the "experts" had predicted. Recently, Las Ramblas also joined the ranks of the dream projects.

Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday!  It was nice to see some of my neighbors putting up a flag for the fourth. Although I keep mine up year round, unless the weather is too foul.  Anyone else fly a flag year round?  Or when the weather permits for those of you that actually get different types of weather!  Just a little curious.
