We're waiting for the end of January Winter here in Murphy NC! Well, the sun might be shining and our temps are up to almost 31 degrees, but we're ready for this month to be over. We have a couple inches of snow on the ground and it is beautiful. We moved here to enjoy the winter season here in the Murphy NC mountains, but the closer we get to Spring the better! We’ve had a very mild winter, but we’re always glad to see this change of season start. The Daffodils have been popping up all over and you’ll even hear the neighbors starting to mow their lawns now too. Be on the lookout for pastels of buds on trees and bushes and those springtime home and yard decorations as all of Murphy NC welcomes in the change of season to (1 comments)

Another cool morning in the Murphy, NC mountains! Another cool morning in the Murphy, NC mountains! This morning here in Cherokee County it was 48 degrees to start our day off. The fog has started rolling in and we’re looking forward to afternoon temps around 82 and a little overcast. Murphy, NC has the perfect weather no matter what season we’re in for spending time outdoors. There are plenty of gardens still producing a little or just sitting out and relaxing on the deck watching the hummingbirds zoom by.Cool mornings and cool evenings here even in the heat of the summer.
