Yes, the weather is cooling and the leaves are just starting to change a little in the Murphy NC mountains - it must be that time again. This weekend is the famous annual John C. Campbell Folk School FALL FESTIVAL! Festival goers will meander along the tree-lined paths, greeting over 240 local and regional artisans showcasing their work for sale. Browsers will enjoy a wide selection of fine crafts including wood, fiber, jewelry, naturals, glass, clay, photography, metal, book arts, painting, garden arts, and more! This is the best Festival in the mountains so don't miss this one! Its definitely our family favorite here (2 comments)
The November Regional Arts Exhibit is located in the Andrews Art Museum, located in the Valleytown Cultural Arts Center, 125 Chestnut Street in Andrews, NC. November 6-8 Regional Arts Exhibit Museum hours are Monday, Friday, Saturday 11-4 and Sunday 1-3. The exhibit showcases the talents of regional artisans and the artwork of student artists of the Cherokee County High Schools, and will be on display until November 28th. November 6 Opening reception from 5-7pm at the Valleytown Cultural Arts Center. Refreshments will be served at the reception which is FREE and open to the (0 comments)
