CARY NC   Housing Trends and Stats - Jan 2010-2011 CARY NC   Housing trends and stats - Jan 2010-2011 are in and need some tranlation.  Is the market down form last year at this time?  Yes, BUT...2010 was an unusual year that will forever be skewed because of the Federal Tax Credit.  The $8000 tax credit truly did stimulate buyers that had been on the fence for a long time.

Cary NC housing statistics May 2009-2010 definitely show the affects of the Federal Tax Credit.  May SOLD homes are up 38.8% over 2009 a hold over from the April 30th deadline.  PENDING home sales are down 26% form 2009, what has become know as the market "hangover" from the tax credit.  

At our office Fonville Morisey -Preston we are still seeing activity over 2009, yet nothing like May 2010!

Cary NC is still attracting relocation buyers due to RTP (Research Triangle Park), schools, safety, and lifestyle.

Cary NC Housing Statistics and Trends- April '09-'10 Cary NC housing statistics and trends show what a ride its been this spring.  Of course the tax credit was a bonus that drove the market early on but the momentum is still evident.  Expectations are that this trend will continue.  We are seeing no signs of a slow down so far.

The rising trend of Cary NC Housing Statistics and Trends continues!  February 2010 we saw 214% rise of pending sales over 2009.  March 2010 pending sales are up 65% over 2009.  With just days left before the April 30 the tax credit deadline the big question remains, "Will the up trend continue?" Cary NC - Housing Forecasts  According to the TARR Report -Triangle Area Residential Realty Report the maps below indicate the Cary NC-Housing Forecast.
The map shows growth in all of Wake County, however I'd like to concentrate on the Cary area.  The first map shows the the cities that make up Wake County.  The second map shows the housing forecast for the area including Cary.  Beginning in 1995, coincidently when I relocated to Cary, and forecasting to the year 2025.  Notice the growth in Western Cary to the Chatham County line.  This area includes Ambery, Cary Park, Carolina Preserve Del … (0 comments)

Cary NC Housing Trend Statistics - November '08-'09 It's all good news in Cary NC!  Looking at Cary NC Housing Trend Statistics graph below, information provided by Triangle MLS, the number of sold and pending homes are up from last November.  November '08 had 87 SOLD homes and 65 PENDING homes, while November '09 shows 89 SOLD and 148 PENDING homes.
Cary has seen an increase of 70.1 %in SOLD and  36.9 % in PENDING over last year!  Now that is GOOD news!

Cary NC Housing Trend Statistics- October '08-'09 Cary NC Housing Trend Statistics are provided in the graph below. To the left you will see the NUMBER OF HOMES at the bottom the MONTHS. Graphed is a one year span of the Number of Homes FOR SALE, Number of Homes SOLD , Number of Homes PENDING.

You can clearly see by the graph our Cary NC spring market. So if you are moving to Cary NC our inventory is at its highest in May and June.
The number of PENDING homes is up from October '08.
