My guests are always trying to get me to share the recipe, so in the public interest, here we go: 4 chicken breasts (boneless) 8 o...

50 degrees. The weather report says we may hit 50 degrees tomorrow. Time to celebrate. Considering it is 28 degrees right now, I am having troubles believing it can happen. Oh yeah! I think it is time to get the boat tuned up. Better get some spring start up fertilizer on the grass. I bet the flo...

How many times have we voted for some man or woman who, during the runup to elections, tells us in no uncertain terms that they stand firmly behind A and would never be able to get behind B? Our President supposedly used to teach Con LAW back in the day. Yeah right. A few weeks ago when a lower court shot down his vaunted healthcare bill, he decided to bypass the court, ala Tricky Dick, and do things his way. In a nutshell, he decided that the court did not know what it was talking a...

Subtitle: The Man has been coming down on me! This morning I started what many of us will finish in about 3 months. A few financial programs, some receipt gathering and organizing, a shoebox or two and then a bottle of quality bourbon. Personal taxes. Drop off the stuff at the CPA's office. Doubl...

My teenager wants a car. Really badly. All of her friends have one. She wants a nice one that will impress everyone that sees her. Sounds expensive to old Dad. She expects me to pay for it. When I tell her she is not getting the car of her dreams, she becomes very upset and starts yelling. "But I...
