Here on Long Island we don't have anything that notes there is a pending offer, or contingencies, or backup offers. When an offer is accepted and someone calls on the listing on the North Shore or South Shore of Long Island, they are told either "it has an accepted offer but still showing, or accepted offer no more shows".
