The bailout passed, and look at the good it did. The markets opened another 500 pints loawer, and continued to take a nose dive.
Is there something I have missed? Wasn't the bailout supposed to shore up the economy and restore market stabililty? Forgive me if I am skeptical, but so far I can see a return to 1987 levels for the Dow. In fact I have been saying the market would make a major correction for the last couple of years.

This is probaly going to get me in trouble with everyone. I am treading into tempestuous and contentious waters. But the question is important, or i would not ask it.
National elections are a change in command and this "changing of the guard" is something that I can see having a profound effect on the real estate and mortgage market. Whenever we change Presidents, economic policy makes changes, too.
The issues affecting us today may affect us on more pronounced ways come January:

I had this thought today, after tax day. I am tired grumpy, and have to work through a convoluted and confusing system, in order to fund the lavish lifestyles of people who live in fancy houses, drive fine cars, and who get lifetime healthcare.
These are our so-called public servants in various elected offices. They are elected or appointed to represent us at various levels and office of our government.
